Robert Wachter and his wife Annie started the church on January 1st, 2017 with only 17 eager and dedicated people.

Many churches have used the historic building since 1914, so we made an effort to cast vision and build relationships.

The church grew to 200 people and the early education program was birthed. The academy started with only 20 students.

In-person gatherings were shut down for months and the world changed. Despite the setback, the academy doubled in size.

The church reopened and the growth process started over. The academy doubled a second time to nearly 90 students.

Imagine Church started with only 15 faithful people in 2017 and now serves hundreds of people each week. We are a multi-generational faith community dedicated to creating real change.

Imagine Christian Academy began with 17 students in 2019 and now serves nearly 90 students. We offer spiritual, academic, emotional and social development to prepare children for life.

Imagine Homeschool Cooperative began in 2021 with about 10 families seeking an alternative path for their children. We offer classes, field trips and activities for students ages 3-18.

Imagine currently leases the historical church building in the heart of Black Diamond near the police station and elementary school. We can purchase the property well below market value at only $800,000. To exercise the right to purchase, we must raise $450,000 by December 31st, 2022.

Owning the adjacent corner lot will round out the main property as a perfect rectangle. This will eliminate poorly maintained structures and create more parking and expansion possibilities. We have a goal to raise $250,000 to purchase the lot by December 31st, 2025.

Robert is an author, speaker and pastor. He is the founder of Imagine Church and former chief marketing officer for a large real estate company.

John is a managing partner at a Pacific Northwest investment management firm. He has spent nearly 20 years in ministry as a pastor and teacher.

Brian has been a successful salesperson his entire career. He has gained valuable insights helping to scale and build several start-up organizations.
